HOW TO BECOME A RICH PERSON ONLY BY TRAVELING AROUND-PART II

In Part I, I have showed you our visit to the Silk Museum. Afterwards, we kept driving up the mountain only to reach the famous Le Telegraph de Belle Vue.

What was once the French Embassy, nowadays is a fancy restaurant/hotel. Truly it is an alluring place; the interior decoration along with the presentation of everything that they offer; simply splendid!

We have picked Le Telegraph for our special treat of the day. Since we started with the history of the Swiss of the Middle East; only fair to give continuity to our road trip with the fancy delicatessen of a French cuisine. Awaiting eagerly and of course, hungrily to eat, we were surprised at the size of the plates!

French are known to eat little, but we are in Lebanon after all. And Lebanese are known worldwide for their generosity. The presentation of the plates were beautiful, the taste exquisite, the service almost impeccable, yet it was an expensive meal. As Esperanza (the name that the Chef gave to my friend Jessy) stated it: “Eating like the rich people do, one bite suffices.”

There was nothing we wanted to complain about, but it was an experience we won’t forget!

Now tell me, don’t they look slimmer after this eccentric meal?!

Hang on for more of this unconventional day.
