LET ME BE YOUR STYLIST!

In the previous blog, I have showed you how to tour the country after the quarantine; and the steps to make it an outstanding journey.

Time to tackle another important subject – STYLE. In all my travels, and internal tours, I have realized that people, mostly women, don’t put on a beautiful outfit for the excursion; leading to unpleasant photos and an attitude that would only upset themselves.

From the comments I have heard, mostly were: “I want to feel comfortable…” Let me ask you, and since when looking beautiful and stylish is uncomfortable?

Being the fashionable one at home, I usually set the look for my sister Monica. In all her trips, and for work, she would ask me to prepare her luggage and the outfit for the day (including accessories and hairdo). Luckily for her, it is something I enjoy doing, hence she would end up always receiving beautiful comments that would draw confidence and a huge smile. So, it is a win-win situation!

Back in time, precisely when I was a little child, my joy in playing with dolls, would be to dress them up. I remember setting a stage on our huge playground for the dolls to model the dresses and attires I did myself. And the dream grew with me, and nowadays, I crochet.

Vanessa, my model for this gorgeous red summer top I have crocheted, was in awe with the three looks I have arranged for her to pose. Who among you, girls, don’t have the famous ‘black dress’?! So the effect of the RST (red summer top) on each look was different and amusing. Whether Vanessa had a cocktail party to go to, or a meeting to attend, or just felt like going on a cruise for ice cream, the RST made her a stand-out! And to complete the garments and her mood, she was very comfortable on all three looks. It went from a feeling of glamour to playful and sexy. It is an investment that you would profit from; other than saving on clothes, this one piece of garment would boost your confidence, once you know how to match it to the other clothes hanging on your closet.

At times, what one needs, is the help of a stylist instead of shopping for more apparels. My role here as a stylist is to advice, coordinate and prepare you for any event you will attend; or simply improve your dressing mode so that this in turn will allow you to feel good about yourself!
