There are places one hears about it, but only when you go and visit it, can you really tell what it is all about. First thing though… we needed to have the famous Knafe from L’Abeille D’Or.
This road trip had plenty of walking, so half a delicious knafe will be burnt in half the day!

It was a beautiful sunny day! Two families getting together to enjoy time and the greatness of Lebanon.
This color combination reminded me of Gwineth Paltrow’s outfit in Paris in the movie ‘View from the Top’.
Getting there, was something… we went through driving, walking, going down the stairs, and even riding a teleferique, only to see a surreal natural wonder! Baatara Gorge or as mostly known Baloua Balaa
The brave Ranoushka walked all the way onto the bridge, whereas I freaked out, lol.
So now you know where I get the ideas from; they are everywhere, you just gotta stop and appreciate your surroundings.
Wondering where we are heading to now? One of our favourite stops - lunch time! Lebanon not only is a gorgeous country full of landscapes, history, wonders, it also offers the best meals. There is a variety of plates, and so many restaurants everywhere; it is like a colourful and healthy feast!
